Harassment and bullying
Targeting a rider, pile-ons, slurs, sexual harassment, or generally making someone dread opening the app. Disagreeing about tire pressure is fine. Making it personal is not. This applies in DMs and community chats exactly as it does in the feed.
Removed and a strike. Sustained targeting of one rider removes the account.Hate
Attacking people over race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexuality, disability, age, or where they are from. There is no "just joking" exception, because it was never funny. Hate symbols and slurs count whether or not anyone was named.
Removed. Account suspended on the first clear case, permanent on the second.Violence and threats
Threatening anyone, glorifying violence, or trying to organise it. Credible threats are reported to law enforcement as well as removed.
Permanent removal, first time.Minors
RideLink is not for children, and nothing that sexualises a minor exists here under any framing, including drawn or AI-generated material. Do not post other people's children. Adults who contact under-18 riders inappropriately are removed and reported.
Permanent removal and a report to the relevant authorities. There is no appeal.Sexual and explicit content
Nudity, pornography and sexual content have no home here. This is a bikes app, not that. Sharing intimate images of someone without their consent is treated as harassment of the most serious kind.

No posting anyone's home address, phone number, workplace, plates, or live location to expose or target them. Do not doxx people. Ever. This includes "just" posting where someone keeps their bike.
Removed immediately and a strike. Doxxing with intent to harass removes the account.Self-harm and suicide
Do not encourage self-harm, and do not share methods. If you are posting because you are struggling, you are not in trouble — we would far rather point you somewhere useful than remove you. Content that glorifies or instructs comes down; content where somebody is reaching out is handled by a human.
Instructional or glorifying content is removed. A rider in crisis gets support resources, not a strike.Genuinely dangerous nonsense
Encouraging riders to blow reds, weave through traffic, ride at pedestrians, or treat a public road like a stunt reel. Ride fast, sure. Do not recruit people into the ER.

No drugs, weapons, stolen property, counterfeit parts, or anything else the law frowns on. That includes stolen bikes and stolen batteries, which have their own detail on the buying and selling page.

A police pin where there is no police, a rideout that is not real, spammed markers for the bit. Fake reports are the fastest way to make the map worthless, so we treat them seriously. Detail is on the map and rideouts page.
