Delete your RideLink account
Applies to the RideLink mobile app (com.ridelinkmaps.app) by RideLink.
You can permanently delete your RideLink account and the data associated with it at any time, either directly in the app or by emailing us.
Option 1: Delete in the app (instant)
- Open the RideLink app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon at the top to open Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account, then confirm.
Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address linked to your account:
app.ridelink@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my RideLink account".
We process email requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile (name, handle, photo, bio, bike, city)
- Your posts, comments, likes, bookmarks, and stories
- Your direct messages and community memberships
- Your notification and push-token records
What is not kept
We do not retain personal data after deletion except where required by law. Map reports (police and rideout markers) expire automatically on their own timers and are not tied to your public profile after your account is removed.
