Who this is for. This page covers the rights granted to Texas residents under the Texas Data Privacy & Security Act (TDPSA), effective July 1, 2024. If you live in another state, your local privacy laws may give you similar rights — see our Privacy Policy.

You don't appear to be in Texas. The opt-out controls below are provided to honor the Texas Data Privacy & Security Act and only apply to Texas residents. RideLink does not sell personal information from anyone — the rest of this page explains what we do and don't do.

1. Do you sell my data?

No. RideLink does not "sell" personal data and does not share it for cross-context targeted advertising. We don't have ad networks that profile you on our site.

2. What does the TDPSA give me?

Right to access. Ask what we hold about you.
Right to correct. Fix anything inaccurate.
Right to delete. Tell us to remove your data.
Right to portability. Get a copy in a usable format.
Right to opt out of (i) sale, (ii) targeted advertising, and (iii) certain profiling.

4. Access, correction, deletion

RideLink stores no real name and no email, just an anonymous device ID and the things you've posted from this browser. The simplest way to delete everything tied to you on this device is to clear site data in your browser — once cleared, the device ID is regenerated and we have no way to connect new activity to past activity.

If you need a written confirmation or want help with a request, email app.ridelink@gmail.com with "TDPSA request" in the subject.

5. Verification

Because RideLink uses no traditional account, we can't verify identity by email/password. We'll honor requests in good faith based on the device ID stored in your browser. If you want us to delete data on a different device, you'll need to send the request from that device or include its ID.

6. Appeals

If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response. If we deny the appeal, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.
